The Philippines is one of the leading emerging markets in Asia. Encouraged by the nation’s prospects, with growing demand and commitment to improve security, fire and safety across all verticals, Axis Communications has announced that it will participate in the inaugural IFSEC Philippines from 3 – 5 May 2017. Given that this is the first time IFSEC will be appearing in the Philippines, the company anticipates a tremendous amount of interest from both public and private sectors; to experience the latest innovations and cutting-edge technologies in security and safety. Axis will be looking to showcase and demonstrate their latest end-to-end security solutions to key industry players and visitors at the tradeshow, which will take place at the SMX Convention Centre in Pasay City, Metro Manila.
Winston Goh, Regional Marketing Head (South APAC) at Axis Communications said, “The Philippines is a key emerging market for Axis Communications in the South APAC region. We are thrilled by, and optimistic about, the growth prospects in this market. By participating in IFSEC Philippines, we aim to achieve two key objectives, namely (1) Showcase the increasing range of solutions we are able to offer beyond conventional network cameras; thus, reinforcing our leading position as the security solutions provider in the Philippines and (2) Build on the solid foundation of business relationships we have already established in-country to prepare ourselves and our partners for future expansion.
Axis will be showcasing their latest solutions in key industries of Smart City Surveillance, Smart Commercial Building and Critical Infrastructure. Amongst the solutions which will be featured are the Axis Q1941-E Thermal Network Camera, Axis A8105-E Network Video Door Station, Axis C3003-E Network Horn Speaker and Axis Perimeter Defender. Besides the exhibition, IFSEC Philippines will also hold conferences and seminars from 3 – 4 May. At the seminar, Axis’ Senior Technical Consultant for South Asia Pacific, Philip Siow, will be speaking about how Axis' initiatives are extending the capabilities of network cameras to offer new and ground-breaking end-to-end solutions, for different verticals in response to changing global demands in the industry.
Visitors to the tradeshow can also keep a lookout for Axis’ official mascot, Cammie, who will be roaming around to drive awareness about some of the activities that will be happening onsite. One of which is a social media drive where participants can redeem for an Axis souvenir if they take a selfie with Cammie and tag Axis when they post their photos up on Facebook or Twitter.
